Established in 1979 By Mr. Nihal C.B. Perera (Former Director-Ceylon Tourist Board), as a travel agency providing travel and related services in the field Of Aviation and Tourism.

The company has grown to be a market leader in out bound travel, Sparklink Travels is an Accredited Member of IATA since 1982 and a “A Grade“approved agency by DGCA of Sri Lanka. Chairman Nihal Perera is the past President of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL). The focus of the company is to treat all clients to “Come as a Client and leave as a Friend” dedicated travel staff, who are professionally qualified, serve the needs of all our valued clients.

The company has won several awards from several airlines for outstanding passenger sales performance. Especially by Singapore Airlines, as the Champion of champions for three consecutive years -1981/82/83

A commendable achievement was the award of a honorary certificate by the “Association of Sri Lanka –China Social and Cultural Co-operation” on the occasion of the 55th National Day of the Republic of China, received in appreciation of services rendered to the development and uplifting of the social, tourism and business co-operation between Sri Lanka and China. The award was presented by the Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China, Excellency H.E Sun Guoxiang.

Another notable achievement is the award received from the Global Distribution System (GDS) - Abacus as a winner of Abacus top 20 travel agents, from South West Asia and Indo China Region.
